Dana Hammond –
Founder, Executive Director, Instructor

As the Founder and Executive Director of Choice Group, Dana oversees all fundraising efforts, developing partnerships, researching and writing grants, and coordinating marketing strategy and materials. He also has taught several of Choice Group’s programs, being an accomplished musician, songwriter and producer himself. Dana has recorded, toured performed and produced records for Mary Mary, Trey Songz, Diddy, Stevie Wonder, Mindless Behavior, and Jessica Simpson. Having earned an Associate of Arts degree from studying music at El Camino College, Dana also learned film scoring from UCLA Extension and is an alumnus of the Annenberg Alchemy+ Leadership Program.

Matthew Seril -
Program Coordinator

Matt Seril received his MBA and Kinesiology degrees from Cal State Long Beach. He is a benefits administrator by day, and gym rat/foodie by night. He enjoys cooking as much as he enjoys eating.

Deonna Johnson -
Administrative Assistant, Program Coordinator

Deonna Johnson is an Administrative Professional and Creative Personality. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Music Industry Administration, while simultaneously seeking a license to be a Music Therapist. Deonna is passionate about God, youth/young adults, and helping people through music. During her free time, she enjoys composing, reading, working out, and family/friends.
